I need a tablet computer and a good camera?

I am very interested in the HP touchsmart TM2 convertible laptop PC, and i am looking for some reviews. I also am very interested in the Canon 60D Digital SLR camera, and again i am looking for some reviews. HOWEVER, these are both very expensive, and i was wondering if you guys know any other substitutes. I want to eventually have a small little photo lab. A tablet PC would be good so i could get hands on and edit my photos, but my friend said it would be just as good to get an external Wacom tablet. I could get a high end Bamboo Tablet, and that comes with good software too! Would it be better to build a good computer from Newegg, and then get one of these? Because, I'm a PC gamer too. Now onto the Camera... I just want one really. I'm a beginner, but I am advanced. If that makes sense. Lol. I just want to get some opinions. I will re-post a question like this once my brain is cleared up and i know what i want. Thanks Guys!
