R&S: Is the fact that you can't know what will happen after death causing you to turn to the supernatural?

Are you so frightened and insecure that you must conform to the ludicrous idea that you will be saved by a dead hippie and winged babies and drift off to fairy land rather than accept that you don't know what will happen and stop this nonsense?
