Sunburn repercussions?

So I'm 16 and my class just went to a pond for a field trip which basically meant me walking around half naked for 7 hours. Being the irresponsible 16 year male that I am I forgot sunscreen and carried on with my shenanigans. Unfortunately I now have a large sunburn. This is really only the second BAD sunburn I've had in my life (the other from a sailing trip) and I was just wondering, what are the repercussions of having these kind of burns? Btw, I'm burned over my abs, chest, very badly on my shoulders, my back, my upperarms and my nose and cheeks. I'm pretty pale skinned since I don't usually walk around half naked (naturally) so I got burned pretty easily, a sad thing. I have been applying a ludicrous amount of aloe vera so... Anyway, what are the consequences of these kinds of burns?
