The mum's son should name our baby?!?

I think you're being a little unfair. Letting the son choose a name would make him more interested in the baby especially as it's not another boy like he was hoping. Why not ask him to make a list of names and choose one from there? Make it a long list so there's more likely to be a name on there that you like.
