GOING TO CHIANG MAI...HELP!!!!?

i will be traveling to chiang mai next month with my partner for 9 days. Was wondering if anybody could tell me what to do there? e.g. elephant jungle trek, bamboo river, days trips etc. How much would it cost per person for these day trips etc. so i know roughly how much i will need to take with me.
