Would it be rude to get it anyway?

There was a silly fight my mom and I had. I'm 16 btw. I wanted to get a lil bamboo plant for my room but she didnt let me get it because it had a dead stalk but I really liked the pot an could have just taken it out or turned it out of view. It's weird but I really wana decorate my room so I want to get my dad to drive me to the store an get it anyway. That will probably just annoy her but good idea?
