What version of gimp will work on my ibook g4?

i just recently (2days ago) got a used ibook g4 and i wanted to know if there are any versions of gimp that are compatible because i have a bamboo pen and touch tablet i just bought and i was trying to switch my programs for it over to this computer and the photoshop elements 8 didnt work on this new computer so i wanted to know if there was a gimp version i could use on this computer, because the newest gimp was not compatible.
